At TriCapital, it is important that our clients’ assets are always protected from the possibility of fraud, bankruptcy or other defalcation. To that end, client accounts are protected by the SIPC in case of bankruptcy or financial difficulty to a limit of $500,000, and $250,000 of cash. Further, our clients have additional protection at no cost through Lloyd’s of London and other insurers, in the amount of $1 billion which is the maximum “excess SIPC” coverage currently available in the brokerage industry.
Triad selected Fidelity Investments and its broker/dealer National Financial Services (NFS) to provide custody, trade execution and clearing services. NFS holds your assets and produces statements independent of reports prepared by TriCapital as a check and balance system with the mission that your wealth is always secure. TriCapital provides discretionary investment services which are limited to trading authority with no ability to access the accounts otherwise. Further, clients have the option of accessing their account balances on-line at any time to view their holdings and account balances.
TriCapital Wealth Management has developed and maintains a business continuity plan. This plan will outline the means by which TriCapital Wealth Management’s location at 6115 Park Drive South, Suite 330 in Charlotte, NC will respond to future significant business disruptions, both internal and external.
TriCapital Wealth Management is equipped for resumption of business in the event a significant business disruption affects the building, business district, city, and/or the region. TriCapital Wealth Management will make every effort to continue to conduct business during those disruptions.
In the event a significant business disruption affects the building, business district, city and/or region, TriCapital Wealth Management may choose to relocate key personnel and telephone service to one or both of our designated alternative locations. Mission critical functions of order taking, order entry and submitting requests for distributions of funds are designed to continue at the alternative location(s).
Relocation of mission critical functions will be completed within four hours of the significant business disruption. While detailed business resumption plans are in place, please be advised that TriCapital Wealth Management cannot guarantee recovery as quickly as outlined above under all possible scenarios. Our recovery time objective may be negatively impacted by the unavailability of critical business constituents and/ or other circumstances beyond our control.
